Myself

Hello, I am Miguel Melo! I am a full stack developer based in the city of Porto, Portugal.

I didn't start my relationship with programming the right way, having dropped out of university because I lacked the passion for it. I did eventually come back and found that we ourselves have to find the passion in what we do and make it grow, and that is exactly what I did, and after persevering I now love what I do, and want to grow in, and with, the world of programming.

I like to think that after being lost, I ended up exactly where I should be.

The Project

My first project as an intern in Hydradev. The goal was to learn React, by creating a card and deck manager for Magic The Gathering. This was a solo project.

Hydradev Task Manager

The Project

Task manager for the company Hydradev. Legacy code. Had big issues at the beginning trying to understand the code and fix all the bugs. Main functionalities added or fixed: filtering of reported hours to display as graphic, creation of candidates profiles based on received email, much more.
